Planning a Sweet 16 at your home or a venue?
DIY backdrops are easier than you think.
Decorate using sequin curtains with a touch of satin and sheer. This backdrop is the key to a picture perfect memory!
INSTRUCTIONS TO COMPLETE YOUR DIY BLUSH, SILVER , NAVY SWEET 16 BACKDROP
Set up the backdrop stand by connecting the baseplate and uprights together. You will use 2 sets of backdrop stands if you want a backdrop to be 18'-20' wide.
Connect your silver backdrops to the crossbars and connect them to the upright poles.
Space out the silver sequin backdrop curtains evenly.
Find the center of your backdrop and add the navy chiffon by placing the fabric up and over the backdrop frame. You will do this same step for the rest of the fabric placing the colors where you want them to be.
Gather the curtains together creating the design you like by using pipe cleaners to hold the draping together.
Add your foam flowers where you would like them to be by using safety pins , velcro or pipe cleaners.
Space out 4 LED Uplights and find the color that best suits the backdrop.

PRO TIP TO COVER STAGE FLOOR
Use a white flat king size sheet for color of choice to cover stage floor. Use gorilla putty to hold sheet in place. Easy to wash and reusable for future events.
If you want to focus on more that the stage decorations for the sweet sixteen party you can glam the guest tables. A few ways you can do this is by covering the banquet chairs with some navy spandex metallic glittering back chair covers. Add a crystal royal crown and crystal carriage centerpieces to tables by alternating them. Add some floral to the guest tables and gift table by adding some beautiful silk rose candle rings with battery operated LED candles. Your options are endless to decorate and create the perfect sweet 16 party for your special daughter!
